The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace will celebrate Chinese New Year with a special event for shoppers on Sunday, March 1st, starting at 9:30 a.m. Attendees can enjoy traditional performances while they shop.

- Lion Dance Performance: Kick off the celebration at 9:30 a.m. at the Ho’okipa Hale Entertainment Stage with a high-energy traditional Lion Dance by the Gee Yung Martial Arts Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Association. After the performance, watch as the lions roam through the Marketplace, stopping by vendor booths and entertaining shoppers.

Make your way to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace on Sunday, March 1st to shop, eat, and enjoy the festivities.
For the safety of all, Lion visits will be focused on the merchants. Please do not approach the group until they exit the vendor booth and they will make every effort to approach those who want to feed the lion and are waiting patiently at a safe distance. The lion may bypass large groups of customers if it seems unsafe based on the safety mitigation plan in place in order to hold this event.
